Fire trucks are complex machines that require specialized training to maintain and repair. Siddons-Martin is pleased to announce the addition of two new Pierce Master Technicians to our service team: Jeremy Dominguez, Sheldon Berry and Adam Cook. Jeremy, Sheldon and Adam have completed training and passed the Pierce Master Technician Exam in order to obtain this prestigious designation.

To achieve the master technician certification, technicians must complete studies in six core curriculums:
- Chassis Electrical Systems
- Command Zone™ II Advanced Electronics
- Aerial Apparatus Systems
- Husky Foam and Compressed Air Foam System
- TAK-4® Independent Suspension and Side Roll Protection
- Frontal Airbag Protection Systems
Upon completion of the coursework, applicants must pass a written, closed-book exam. The certification is good for two years and each Master Technician must re-certify to maintain their master technician certification every two years.
